We are building an organization whose entire purpose is protecting your contact information. It would be strange to be careless with it here.

Ballotgrove is not formed yet and is not open to members or users. Today this website does two things: it explains what we are building, and it collects waitlist signups from people who want to know when we open. This policy describes that, honestly, at the small scale we are actually operating. When we open, we will publish a fuller policy covering the service itself, and we will tell waitlist members before it takes effect.
Our pages load typefaces from an outside font service, so that service receives your IP address as part of serving the fonts. We are working toward serving the fonts ourselves so that request goes away.
The wallet preview on this site runs entirely inside your own browser. Anything you type into it, including sample gifts and preferences, is stored on your device and is never transmitted to us. There is no account, no server, and no database behind it. Clearing your browser storage, or using the reset link, erases it completely.
Your email address is used for one purpose: telling you when you can join, plus the occasional short note about our progress if you would want to know. That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, we do not trade it, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any other organization for their own use. This is not a promise we intend to revisit later; it is the reason the organization exists.
Ballotgrove and Pandokin are planned as legally separate organizations, and we treat your information that way. A waitlist signup here belongs to Ballotgrove. If you also sign up with Pandokin, that is a separate record, and one side does not hand your information to the other without your say. When the shared account opens, you will decide what carries across.
Ballotgrove is nonpartisan. We do not sell, share, or provide your information to any campaign, party, committee, or political vendor, and nothing on this site supports or opposes any candidate, party, or ballot measure. Joining the waitlist is not a political contribution and tells us nothing about how you vote. We do not ask, and we do not want to know.
We keep waitlist entries until we open, so we can tell you. If you do not become a member, we delete your entry within twelve months after launch. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will, without asking you why.
Email us at hello@pandokin.org and we will tell you exactly what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We aim to answer within a few days. There is no form to fill out and no hoops to jump through.
Waitlist submissions are held by our website host in an account protected by strong authentication. We are a very small team, and access is limited to the people who need it. We would rather tell you that than describe safeguards we do not yet have.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will remove it.
Reach us any time at hello@pandokin.org. We do not publish a mailing address yet, because the organization is not yet formed; we will add one when it is.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly swapping the page.
